The Farley family is holding a celebration of life for Coach Dick Farley on Friday afternoon as we head into Homecoming weekend. A Look at Wesleyan

Williams travels to Middletown on Saturday, Nov. 7, to take on the Wesleyan Cardinals at Corwin Stadium at 1 p.m.

Wesleyan is 6-1. The Cardinals beat Middlebury, Tufts, Hamilton, Colby and Bates before suffering their only loss, 15-9 at unbeaten Amherst, when the Mammoths scored the winning touchdown with 22 seconds left. Wesleyan bounced back with a 28-0 shutout at Bowdoin last week. Holden Gering came a long way to play in the Purple Valley. The senior defensive back wears No. 5 and hails from Pacific Palisades, California. He’s a history major with a concentration in justice and law studies.

A Look at Hamilton

Williams hosts the Hamilton Continentals at Farley-Lamb Field on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1:30 p.m.

Hamilton is 2-4. The Continentals dropped their first four games, to Tufts, Amherst, Wesleyan and Trinity, but have since beaten Bowdoin 26-7 and Colby 28-14 for their first winning streak of the season. Hamilton averages 370 yards and 24.5 points per game, both third-best in the NESCAC, but its defense ranks last in the league in yards allowed (402 per game) and ninth in points allowed (30 per game).
